The engagement
What we built together.
Dr. Gregory Stock, genomics researcher, biophysicist, and bestselling author, had a vision for an app that could help people understand their own behavior and psychology. After a costly prior engagement with an Armenia-based team produced nothing shippable, he found Victory Square Partners. What followed was eight weeks of disciplined, spec-driven engineering and a live debut at South by Southwest.
- Spec-driven from day one. Victory Square replaced guesswork with documentation. Every feature was specified before a line of code was written, turning the spec into the authoritative source of system intent and giving the client full visibility at every stage.
- Two engineers. Full product. A two-person React Native team (Romania-based) delivered what a larger team could not. The switch from Unity to React Native and Supabase made the codebase maintainable, extensible, and audit-ready for NIH grant reporting.
- Internationalization in under 36 hours. When Dr. Stock asked about adding 35 languages, the team had a working test within 36 hours, at a cost of roughly $5,000. "You can do that for $5,000? Just by switching it on?" That reaction said everything about the efficiency of the approach.

I knew very, very quickly that this had been the right choice. Victory Square were inhabiting what we were trying to do: the project. I just wish we had done it earlier.
Your idea deserves a team that ships.
No proposal theater. A direct conversation with the engineers who will actually build it, and an honest assessment of whether we're the right fit.
